Forums - Sales - PS3 will sell regular one million per month sales in Europe/Other region

Around 2009/10 the PS3 consoles sales will sell over 200k per week in Europe/others alone, regularly on a weekly basis. Pushing monthly average to 1 million PS3's for the Others region.

Majority of Europe/Others are waiting for MGS 4, Final Fantasy 13, God of War 3 and mainly GT 5 to arrive. Europe is Pro Sonyland. Expect PS3 console sales to increase dramatically.

^Discuss people. PS3 sales will pick up dramatically when more exclusive AAA titles are available for PS3 and price of PS3 is cut in Europe/Others region.

Where did you pick this 1 million per month number? CrazzyMan borrowed it to you?

@ slimebeast

I think he got it from JL.

The PS3 could only manage that with a Wii price point and by the time it's @ a Wii price point the PS4 will be out.

It is in response to JL's Wii One million per month in the US thread.
I have not put a time period on it.
Europe/Others region covers all the countries outside Japan and Americas.

ps3 sales WILL pick up (they are doing so already) and will eventually sell massivley worldwide, its only in its second year and some people still write it off lol

going into xmas 2009 it will move collosus amounts for sure, and if a possible £199 price point can be reached at that time, well all i can say theres nothing better for the money.

...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk

really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...

Europe/Others region is a bigger market than the US on its own.

I think sales will increase as much as GTAIV managed to increase them.

yes but PS3 is a "weaker" console than Wii in term of sales
I doubt it will outsell the Wii even with an entry price of 250$/E.

Time to Work !

If there is a major price cut (down to £200) after GT, then perhaps, but extrememely unlikely
