Latest RUMOR that I heard was 300k-400k at launch. It may or may not be true.
Why does it seem like everyone of these rumors about the game itself (not the content) turn out to be bad? I don't believe this rumor one bit.
I don't believe it either. It has to be higher than that. They have 1 extra week to make copies!

well it might be true because some sources have been saying that ninty will ship less copies then they did with SMG

I don't understand why though. SSBB is going to sell like crazy! It may end up selling more than SMG!
It's probably a store trick to get more people in to purchse the game. I don't know why they would need to do that this IS Smash we're talking about here.

Like who? I don't remember seeing insane estimates for Japan. I predicted 400,000 at max.
