Maybe I should buy the game, come home, and make a short movie where I open the game, don't play it, and read the entire manual out loud for the camera, and then post it in this thread so all your heads explode. Then I'll go straight to WFC and rock your practicing n00b asses.

First thing I'll be doing is playing through Subspace Emissarry with my wife. Likely with Link and Zelda.

As to Megaman, it's very likely that they'll announce him tomorrow.  However, I could easily see them waiting until a little closer to the japanese launch.  I agree though, tomorrow is most likely if he's in. 

^It appears that you might not be able to select your character at the beginning of SE. I think the first choices are Mario and Kirby, and from there, depending on what you do, different characters will become available.

Dammit. I wanted to go with Snake or Sonic first, because it would feel so wrong. If it's really just those two, I'll go with Kirby until I get to Pit.

Monday Update: Two-Player Events Interesting!

First thing I'm gonna do is play the classic mode and try to unlock as many fighters as possible. Most unlockable characters are unlocked this way. And then the Subspace Emissary. And ofcourse the VS mode whenever I feel like it or have good company.

Co-op Events


This time, Event matches can be played in two-player mode! Wow. This is a great game for couples.

The two-player Events begin!

These are not battles—they’re cooperative play. So, you tackle the challenge of each Event together.

There are fewer two-player Events than single-player ones, but they each have different settings than the single-player matches.

Two Trouble Kings



Characters: Mario, Kirby

Battle together against Bowser and King Dedede!
This is a proper 2-on-2 match.

Master the Pokémon Tag Battle



Characters: Pokémon Trainer, Pikachu

This features Squirtle, Ivysaur, Charizard, and Pikachu.
It’s a tag battle with pretty much equal teams!

Fastest, Shortest, Sudden Death



Characters: Yoshi, King Dedede

Defeat the most enemies in just 10 seconds!!

ALL MINE!



Characters: Wario, Bowser

C-could this be a Coin battle?! With lots of bills...

That reminds me, there are Coin battles this time around, too. When you launch an opponent, you collect their money. The player with the most money at the end wins.



The fact that it isn’t bloodthirsty is nice.

Oh, and I forgot to mention earlier that you can play Target Smash!! with two players simultaneously as well!



Oh! I see! Delegation of duties is important!
