I pretty much never wavedashed. I didn't L-cancel much either.

I jump the right way, dodging when I need to. I generally played defense with attack moves, rather than trying to avoid people. Someone's going to hit me, I'd rather find a way to stop them instead of trying to dodge them, because messing up a dodge is worse than missing an attack.

I'll probably be playing Ike or Meta Knight. Ike, because he is similar to Marth, and Meta Knigh because it is Kirby(N64 main) and Marth(Melee main) combined!!!

They weren't actually negative. Just sort of disappointed at the loss of the game engine exploits that Melee was never meant to have in the first place.

I'm sure my main will be Pokemon Trainer or Sonic. It's kind of odd that I would pick what's likely the two most difficult in the game to master as mains, but I really think I'll enjoy playing as them more than anyone else.

Well, I do L-cancel most of the time .... well, R-cancel heh, and wavedashing not much. I usually go like this -attack attack attack attack attack attack- so R-cancel fits my style very well.

I like the fact that Sonic is hard to learn. He does little damage apparently, kind of like how Sheik didn't really have many strong attacks...

Once I and others learn to use Sonic very well, he could be quite the opponent.

Samus sounds weaker...that's fine though. I will still own!

And of course, the Miis might get the most playtime...because there WILL be Miis!

My style is more like -attack attack attack attack taunt attack KO taunt taunt taunt KO-
