Well ben, I personally LOVED Sonic Adventure 2 Battle on the Gamecube. I got EVERYTHING on that game, seriously. After that, I haven't played any new Sonic game except the PS3... no need to talk about that...

Well I would love for them to add Sonic. I am getting the game with him or without him but it would really make the game even sweeter for me, if they add him I would also like a level.
As for him not fitting in the story, I am not sure how all these characters fit in the story. I find it odd thinking Snake or Ike fit in the Subspace Emissary either but who knows.
Sonic may be past his prime but he has a old following. Mario and Sonic Olympics I would never have even considered ordering if it did not have the both of them in it. Assuming it has even decent reviews it will be showing up at my door this holiday season.
