Hardware sales for April were largely driven by the two versions of Grand Theft Auto IV, Mario Kart Wii, Pokemon Mysterious Dungeon 2 for DS, and Gran Turismo 5: Prologue for PS3 as can be seen in the top ten software sales below. A number of carry over titles from last month, including Super Smash Brothers Brawl (Wii), Army of Two (Xbox 360), and Tom Clancy’s Rainbow 6: Vegas 2 (Xbox 360) continued to drive hardware as well. Two holdovers from 2007 also remained in the top ten Call of Duty 4 (Xbox 360), and Wii Play (Wii).
