Good. I would rather be playing than watching. I have plenty of movies to watch if I want a passive experience.

I'm most excited to try out the new control scheme in this game. I abhorred the previous MGS control systems, especially MGS3.

how much flashbakcs would there be in this game? this is actual my first metal gear solid game

That's great. Cutscenes are awesome! I love cutscenes, and I enjoy watching them. It is actually the only part of the game where graphics really matter to me, so pre-rendered of CGG or whatever it is called is cool with me.

Believe it or not; one of the worst looking games on the Wii (guess which one, it begins with F and is in 4 words) turned me into a cutscene whore

the answer is...Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn

Well I believe the cutscene will be cinematic and building the overall mood of the game Kojima always goes for a blockbuster movie feel to his games and has never failed to deliver yet! there really is no other series that compares with building a movie style feeling to it.

Great character development where your actually linked to the character emotionally come thru, great story telling mixed with heady gameplay, some people dont want to think how they are gonna take out enemies and its definetly not a platformer box smashing hop and pop kiddie game.

I agree with the ff xenosaga kingdom hearts analogy of story and cutscenes for developing characters and if done right make your jaw drop.

How many times have you went back with your friends to show them an amazing cutscene and were blown away??????

I understand some people wont like it and its not thier bag seriously its not they're bag baby, but why reply here and say anything your probably not getting this game anyway. This is how MG games are its no suprise and I think more is better! If the gameplay is repetitive and gets boring longer gets old quick like Assasins Creed.

Still I enjoyed the beauty of that game and never got bored, and I think all the options that MGS is known for in finishing a level your way wether stealthy or run and gun makes for a multiple run thru even more plausible!

Plus online cant hurt the value of this game. I for one got my 60 gig ps3 at launch just for this title alone and hopefully more great exclusives to come but I cant wait and Iam totally geeked waiting for it.

I personally hate the idea of 9 hours of cutsenes but 21 hours of gameplay is a great number.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

30 hours seem a bit long for a type of game like this, but I don't mind. Anyways, the less cutscenes and more gameplay, the better. I do enjoy the story and cutscenes of MGS, but it gets a little boring watching countless of cutscenes after a while.

9 hours of cinemas and only 21 hours of gameplay is an atrocious ratio. Basically, I'll be forced to watch cinemas for at least a third of the game. Worse still, a skilled gamer should complete the game in even less time. I hate extended cutscenes in games and always find I want to skip straight to the action. I've always preferred videogames over television and movies, and besides, the quality of cinema in gaming is rather poor in comparison.

Seriously if they keep the same control scheme they used in MGO, even i (one of the biggest MGS fans) am not getting it. It was a nice game (MGO) but the controls made me want to break my controller.

Great news. That means there's loads of content compared to past games, and a higher gameplay to cutscene ratio compared to MGS2.

This game should be excellent. :)

This won't bother anyone, everyone has always praised MGS as being a playable movie and its the most repeated source of praise Kojima has offered this game. Unless the game is utter trash none of this will matter and the game will most likely become an endearing addition to the gaming world due to its uniqueness in this regard.

Whether this will be a good game or not won't be known until 6 months after it comes out at least, by then the game and its flavor will of had a chance to sink in. With all the anticipation and the conflicting idealogies between fans of what makes an MGS game an MGS game, this could be the worse game ever made and it would get 10/10 reviews and fan praise sung from mountain tops for all to hear. That said I see no reason to think it won't be a great game, but none the less MGS2 is proof that not all that glitters is gold.

Be cautious friends, high expectations have a bad habbit of biting people in the ass this generation.
