It's all about the games. If Nintendo releases good games that alot of people like, it doesn't matter what Sony does. 360 won the first round of the console fight. Nintendo won the second and is in control of the third. The fourth will be this Christmas. If Nintendo overtakes the 360 and is still steaming ahead in January, look out.

There is a race of SD vs HD. If the Wii can keep outselling PS3 and 360 combined until 2009 those HD systems will never reach their full graphical potential. The Wii's graphics will even come closer to the HD systems then they are now because the Wii will get the most optimization. If the Wii owns less than 50% market share until 2009 HD graphic quality can thrive and evolve and will make the Wii look bad even to mainstream customers during the second half of the cycle.

of course 360 won the first round..nintendo and sony didnt even have their systems out till 2006. the way its going nintendo is gonna be on top by the end of sep.

I don't know why, but that really cracked me up.   WHOCK, WHOCK, WHOCK... lol

I also totally agree with you.  I love all the WHOCK'n and the CRACK'n and the WHOOSH'n coming out of that little speaker in my hand.  It really helps you connect with what's happening on the screen.

I say they should upgrade the controller next year. They should have a high tech speaker in it with stronger motion sensors in it. They have announced a major hardware announcement in the coming E3 so maybe they are one step ahead of me. I wouldn't be surprised if we see the speaker in the Sony and the Microsoft controllers next year. This thing is the next Rumble Pak.

Once again Nintendo shows itself as the industry's standard maker.

They set the trends, others follow.

That's leadership, my friend.
