that is the worst spin i've ever seen. this person has no idea about the reality of the video game market. its like as if someone told him "wii sucks, ps3 sucks, 360 is great" and then told him to write an article about it. that was a really funny read.

my favorite parts were the outright lies like wii is running out of steam and ps3 is catching up to 360 because of a lower price. brilliant.

I find it funny how he claims that PS3 and Wii sales will dry up world wide due to a 360 price drop in NA ( I means its just had price drops in Europe and Asia ... but that didn't effect PS3 or Wii ) ... also he claims Wii has no 3rd party support which is changing ...

:P expect in 12 months or so for him to proberly attack VGchartz sales figures when PS3 and 360 are neck-and-neck and Wii is miles in front ...

wow.. i love how he says sony only has killzone, but microsoft has halo 3!! not even in the same league buddy. MGS, GT5, motorstorm 2, little big planet, resistance 2, socom. and at the end he says, the xbox 360 lineup is much stronger! without any mention of any games or anything. this guy is really credible huh!

First point - Wii. Frankly, it's a lot STRONGER than most want to believe, according to sales figures. Wii consistently outsells the 360 in hardware in every single region by a tremendous margin, and, save for this past week, it consistently outsells the 360 in software nowadays too. Sorry, Reisinger, but your ignorance is showing.

Second point - PS3. What the heck? Lower hardware price? What the heck are you smoking? The PS3 has always cost more than the 360. Now more than just ignorance is showing. O_o;

Conclusion: First paragraph into the actual article and he immediately fails. I've never seen somebody screw up that quickly. Good job, Reisinger. You've made me lose even more faith in humanity.

May I remind you that the 360 has been outsold worldwide by both the Wii and PS3 for like 20 weeks now.

The concept of market inertia (as well as supply and demand) tends to evade those who wish to see a non-dominating console take the lead. Because if they understood those concepts, they would understand that 1.) on the off chance a system does get more popular, it takes time for it to catch up to and surpass the competition (as seen with PS3 vs. 360), and 2.) demand must be there for supply to have any meaning (which it hasn't been so much, comparatively, for the 360).

It's sad when people think citing a well-known and fairly reliable source will make people overlook their poor scholarship...
