The term astronaut is only used for American people, Mario is either italiano or japanese or mushromaaso. The pointer is a star. There was a star in SMB too.

No, I don't work for MS or Nintendo - I have only ever been involved in development of Sony or PC titles ;) My mistake - I didn't see Gundam & RR7 creep over 100k - I'll up that to 150k. The point being, Sony needs some "killer" apps for the PS3 (VF may well be one - find out soon). I also saw that it is being released on the 28th Feb - no idea why, its finished and reviewed (my sources may be wrong..). As for releases in Asia - Im really not sure. I didn't see the Wii in China - its an import in HK, but Im pretty sure I saw it for sale in Singapore & Taiwan (again may be imports - I was only quickly browsing). Point is, they were advertising it - and it was completely sold out (only games available).

#1... PS3 60gb.....Sonic #2....Wii.............Gathering dust bunnies in the bedroom. #?....X-Box360......If I find more than 3 games I want, I might get one. PC: Intel C2D 6300, 1.0GB RAM, 8800GTS, and a 250GB HDD.

Wii gets daily use, for both games, news, VC - for myself, visitors and other members in the house #2....X-Box360......If I find more than 3 games I want, I might get one. #?....PS3 (whatever) After Lik-Sang, it will be a cold day in hell I *ever* buy another Sony product... Oh really? Then why isn't there Virtual Console, Internet channel, Weather Channel, Mii Channel, Photo Channel, Shop Channel, Wiiconnect 24, News Channel, self-loading DVD-drive, flash memory, SD-card station, PPC or Ati Hollywood on my Gamecube? Must've gotten different version than you. And for the last time, SYSTEMS DON'T HAVE GRAPHICS, GAMES DO. Metroid Prime 3 and Super Mario Galaxy have great grapchis, for example.

@shams Those sale were only counted in Japan. The NA numbers should add at least 50,000. VF 5 will be out in Japan on the 8th and the US on the 20th. It should have a bigger impact in Japan. http://ps3.ign.com/objects/641/641054.html

Ok. I cant help myself. But please name one PS3 game that looks worse than Zelda on a 40inch 1080p screen. Zelda is by far the best I've seen so far. (movies and screenshots dont count) (notice the way I worded that... novel isnt it? ;D

Gundam, that game honestly looks like they had a blind man head art direction Of course this is on a 42inch 1080p set, so it probably doesn't count

Ok...for the last time... Zelda is a GAMECUBE PORT. All it got was a 16:9 and progressive scan upgrade in the Wii version, along with the new controls. So Kwaad, stop ripping at Zelda like it's a Wii-designed game. IT'S NOT. That said, most of the other Wii games still look crappy anyway...but the new releases are already looking better. Sonic has some next-gen looking stuff in it, and SSX Blur doesn't look half bad... and if the trailers for coming 2007 Wii games are any indication, the graphics on the Wii are NOT Gamecube quality. It just needs the right developers...like on the DS. Half the games on the DS don't utilize much 3D, even though the DS has the capabilities....game designers just think the innovative touch screen or motion control on the Wii is what matters. And I guess they're kind of right. Even so, Wii games will look better soon.
