Sony cry: Wii is Just "Impulse Purchase"

So to say they have none over 100,000 is being unreasonable. You don't work for "ms or nintedo" do you? I was under the impression that their "big budget" games were not coming out till March. VF does not lunch till Feb 8 in Japan which VF is doing very well in the arcade which should translate into sales. We will find out the week after the 8th if that is true.

No, I don't work for MS or Nintendo - I have only ever been involved in development of Sony or PC titles ;) My mistake - I didn't see Gundam & RR7 creep over 100k - I'll up that to 150k. The point being, Sony needs some "killer" apps for the PS3 (VF may well be one - find out soon). I also saw that it is being released on the 28th Feb - no idea why, its finished and reviewed (my sources may be wrong..). As for releases in Asia - Im really not sure. I didn't see the Wii in China - its an import in HK, but Im pretty sure I saw it for sale in Singapore & Taiwan (again may be imports - I was only quickly browsing). Point is, they were advertising it - and it was completely sold out (only games available).
