I'm sure this has been asked plenty before, but do more people use the Japanese or English voices? I always leave games on Japanese when there's the option, maybe I'll change to English for my second playthrough (or as long as I can stand it).

I use japanise one for this game (even if i can understand only a few words from it).

As for story I partially agree sometimes the amount of idealism in dialogues can make even seasoned anime watcher like me feeling bad.

I can't wait fort he DLC though. I was excited for the Selvaria DLC before because, well you get to play as Selvaria but now i'm more excited for the Edy DLC casue not only does it have my second favourite Shocktrooper Edy as the Leader but it has my Favourite Sniper Marina as one of the main charcters.

I saw the Japanese trailers for the DLC packs and Selvaria was blushing in hers. I wonder why.

So you like EDY too? What's so good about her? The best shocktroopers in my experience are Vyse (for rushing), Hannes for defending (Ult Damage pwns all troops) and Rosie for any of the above.

I'm excited for the selvaria dlc because I hear you can get the ruhm for your shocktroopers if you complete it. Maybe then, I can finally beat some of those hard skirmishes lol.

I'm serious. I've never used Edy because she has too many bad potentials.

 

He's most likely talking about looks. Just google image tsundere.

So thats what the Edy madness is all about lol. There are so many other chars in the game actually worth using that look better than her. Marina for example but I guess most female shocktroopers are fugly/have bad potentials. I even think Wendy looks better than Edy but I don't like some of her potentials. Vyse and Hannes FTW!

 

 

 That's one of the reason I like her, another reason is because of how funny the thing she says are. Like when her Rosie hater potential activates and honestly I couldn't care less about potentials, they only really come in handy on a few occasions. So I'd rather use characters I like, such as Edy and Audrey as opposed to characters with better potentials than them.

Just how hard is this game? I don't mind a challenge, but I'll pass if some things are nearly impossible.

It doesn't look like anyone answered you, so I'll just post how I beat that stage.

The shocktrooper and the scout in the top left corner of the map can be bypassed by a secret path if you stick to the right. Stop both alecia and welkin right before the corner, and then on your next turn just run down the path (right behind the grass, so just stick to the right most wall) and behind both the shocktrooper and the scout. You might get shot at, but it shouldn't damage you to much.

If you want, continue towards the end of the map. If you want, you can turn around and take out both from behind with either guns or grenades. Since you are coming from behind they don't evade as well and should be fairly simple.

Oh, that's funny. I don't think this needs spoiler tags, so I'll say it - I blew the guy down with grenades (I had the launcher already). I spent a ton of exp keeping the scout class as high as possible, since, well... Alicia.

Okay, maybe I did play a couple more skirmishes than I needed to (played each 1-3 times, always quick A ranks). Probably made the game too easy, at least, I know I never had a money problem.

Wow that's one HUGE spoiler they put in the opening when you look at part with princess. Unless of course anime takes place after game storyline..

I think it looks a little different, but VC looks like a anime outright. I just found this trailer on youtube. It could be fake, but that's a whole lot of work!

Maybe... looks like the game engine to me...  It actually looks like actual shots from the game...  but maybe it's just me. 

Like that road with the mines... all the videogame esque motions...
