Forums - Gaming - How a "Nintendo" ruins your children

Can't believe I waited so long to read this thread, a well needed chuckle was had on this grim night.

Okay, so far, I haven't seen any responses showing up. So I'm betting that they're getting filtered out. If I don't see my comment show up, I'm going to submit this one and see if it gets through.

Lighten up about concerns
Everyone has problems
Acceptance is a key
Remember that
Never give up

Tomorrow is a new day
Open minds breed happiness

Believe in yourself
Earn respect

Always enforce discipline

Patience is a requirement
Attention must be invested
Responsibility is not optional
Enforce this constantly
Never back down
This breeds responsible behavior

So what do people think? Is it too obvious? Or too subtle?

"What finally did it was a suggestion from my oldest child that without a Nintendo in her school bag, she would be unable to fit in at school. (Yes, I know - oldest trick in the book. And I fell for it.)" I loved that quote. Mommy, buy me this so that I can be cool at school, don't ask me how anyone else will know since I am not allowed to have it or play it at school and that it would likely get stolen if I took it there.

The dumb broad bought one DS, that was most likely pirated, for four young kids because one of them though it would make her "cool." Terrible parenting.

And for those that are wondering and the person who said that parenting isn't easy on the first page, no I don't have any kids, but I have 10 nieces and nephews. So even though I don't have any first hand knowledge of raising a kid, I do know some of the big things not to do and she broke the first thing on the list.

Screw commenting, I'll just post the thread link to it and see if it get's posted. Though I doubt it.

That concisely sums up how parenting should be. Knowing the moderators at Daily Mail, it should be up within 1-2 hours.

Yes, parenting is a difficult thing, but that does not mean you should try any less harder!

They still aren't listing any comments, I guess everyone is telling the writing what an idiot she is and they don't want to embarrass her.

should have gotten them a psp...

Still zero comments on the website, wonder if that women realizes what an idiot she is now.

i don't know how to embed pictures, but look at the picture of that girl's haircut. its horrible, why would a mother say that her daughter's haricut looked "wonderful" that short.

Stupid b1thc

"I'll admit, the Nintendo had its uses. I managed to achieve a longheld aim of getting a short haircut for Phoebe via the simple tactic of allowing her to take the Nintendo to the hairdresser's. "

This woman has issues, serious issues.

All I could attain from that hideous article wqas that she was trying to control/live her childrens lives. I would never stand for her style of parenting, their kids not robots. They are not perfect, they are occasionally supposed to scrap with each other and play an hour or two on the DS... it's normal.

This woman is just plain odd.
