"What finally did it was a suggestion from my oldest child that without a Nintendo in her school bag, she would be unable to fit in at school. (Yes, I know - oldest trick in the book. And I fell for it.)" I loved that quote. Mommy, buy me this so that I can be cool at school, don't ask me how anyone else will know since I am not allowed to have it or play it at school and that it would likely get stolen if I took it there.

The dumb broad bought one DS, that was most likely pirated, for four young kids because one of them though it would make her "cool." Terrible parenting.

And for those that are wondering and the person who said that parenting isn't easy on the first page, no I don't have any kids, but I have 10 nieces and nephews. So even though I don't have any first hand knowledge of raising a kid, I do know some of the big things not to do and she broke the first thing on the list.
