Killzone 2, and MGS 4 are the best games I have, but there are a lot more great games for the PS3



I am a loyal SONY fan and will always be.

I am also a PS1, PS2, PS3 and a PSP owner.

some games seem good at first then the novelty wares off.. infamous, resi 5. then othertimes the ones you don't give a second look to can be best. thats wot i found with arkham assylum ps3.

Yeah... fortunately, it's all subjective. I wasn't that interested in inFamous before it came out, but I gave it a shot and love it. Trust me when I say that the "novelty" of inFamous has not worn off for me. I've beaten that game a good five times, and I'm still playing through again.

I don't have a problem!!

Great thread. I think that you should rank games by their metacritic score as opposed to their VGchartz score.

I think that by ranking the games by their metacritic score you incorporate views from a much larger variety of reviewers and avoid the potential for ubalanced or biased reviews.

Ex.

Valkyria Chronicles>Fallout 3

Although I love Valkyria chronicles, ranking it above games such as Fallout 3 and Oblivion is kind of rediculous.

In order for it to be a TRUE PS3 best games guide I think this change is necessary.

I disagree. This is VGChartz, and since we have reviews, we may as well use them. Metacritic sucks for ranking, because it incorporates all kinds of crappy reviews from random no-name reviewers, and that can bring the score down significantly. And if you ask around on this site, the overwhelming majority of members will prefer VC to both of those games.

It's not one man's opinion, it's several. Mainly Machina and Torillian, but also Signalstar, Monti and some others.

EDIT: And correc me if I'm wrong, Machina, but doesn't the review team look over a review before it's posted?
