I can't check the Japanese numbers, I keep getting a parse error (on line 416).

Anyway, one thing with the problem is, that this site is so heavy. 200k per download isn't exceptional.
The frontpage downloads decently almost all the time, but forum causes the most problems.
I'd say that the best way to address the issues would be making the site lighter and forum to have less posts per page. It wouldn't cause slowdowns as much and in case of slowdown, they wouldn't be so visible. Which would eventually turn into user satisfaction.

ive been having this problem since yesterday, :(
ioi, I've noticed that with gecko based (firefox, seamonkey, etc.) browsers the scroll speed for the site is kinda slow (and a lot of CPU power is used to render the page as it scrolls). This didn't happen before the site redesign. Do you know what could be causing that?
No problems with opera in the forums now but I can't load the front page.
Think twice before helping a friend in need.
