hmm i just wonder how older games will perform, that would be key for hardware boost too. I have a feeling Wii might outsell PSP with much more software collection.. but i think the MH hype is still around in Japan

Well old titles are still up , so maybe MKWii and MHP2G will take all the sales in :?
Vote the Mayor for Mayor!
I just found out that Link's Crossbow Training costs around $35 in Japan. It is only $20 in America. I bet Nintendo would have sold a lot more if it was priced for around $20 in Japan.

GTAIV not is alreay release in Japan.
GTAIV hasn't released in Japan. And GTA isn't too incredibly popular in Japan. However, it *is* one of the best-faring Western games in Japan. GTA3, VC and SA have all done over 300,000 units on the PS2.
I wonder how IV would do if it was multi-port.
Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
I hate it when people say game x bombed by just looking at first day of even first week sales. Remember Mario & Sonic? Carnival Games? Hell, any Wii game for that matter? People said that Mario & Sonic bombed because it couldn't even sell 100k first week. It's now over 4 million, and still selling 90k per week.
Besides, I think Link's Crossbow Training has excellent first day sales in Japan, what the hell did you expect from it?
Yeah, I'm not sure how 36K first day is bombing. Golden Week should give it good sales throughout the week, right?
So it could go through that first shipment in 2 to 4 weeks, methinks. Considering that the Zapper already launched in Japan awhile ago, 200K lifetime for LCT wouldn't be bad. It should obviously do better in America and Europe where it's the only way to get the Zapper and where they have better long tail sales.
I actually still think it could move about 5M WW LT.
"[Our former customers] are unable to find software which they WANT to play."
"The way to solve this problem lies in how to communicate what kind of games [they CAN play]."
Satoru Iwata, Nintendo President. Only slightly paraphrased.
