I finally bought a cheap PS2 today. What games should I get?

My favourite genres include fighters and racers and my least favourites are RPGs and sandbox games.

Thanks everyone. Any suggestions outside of fighters and racers? Lots of games seem to be about £4 second hand so I'm keen to try a few things I usually wouldn't.

King of fighters 98, ultimate match up when it gets itself out the door,
Fatal Fury Battle Archives has the real bout games which are all very good, plus it's a budget title
Street Fighter alpha anthology is a great one as well.
I'd stay away from Neo Geo battle coliseum and Kof xi, but they are cheap and I'm really jaded about snk's fighters
Plus SHADOW OF THE COLOSSUS , seriously it is the best ps2 exclusive
wait your from the UK so are you talking about US fighters, street fighter, or US beat em ups, final fight?
anyway God Hand is cool as well
and SNK collection has samurai shodown 1 and kof 94 on it
