when's the last Megaman game???

Hmm...come to think of it, there is still no Megaman game for bigger 7th generation consoles (Wii/PS3/360), excluding Wii's VC. Ay least, I've never heard of such game being made...they kidna slowed down with this franchise lately.

Mario is honestly the most milked franchise ever. It also is in my opinion the best. That's the reason why you milk things. Because they are good. Megaman was excellent in its day and has tailed off (once again in my opinion). Now Sonic is just probably the coolest video game character ever and thats why he can still do well despite bad games and after the sales of his last few games you can say that he'e officially back ( not my opinion; just fact).

Good point Random Person B. I think Mega Man is milked more than Sonic, but I think Sonic fell from grace way harder than Mega Man, and possibly harder than any gaming icon ever.

The problem is that Sonic wasn't milked or dropped.  He was taken out back by Sega Sammy and shot.  Now his ghastly zombie bones periodically wander the new release lists defecating on them in true zombie fashion.

Nintendo's SSBB and the Mario/Sonic game are the closest things to giving Sonic life again.

Sonic is probably the coolest video game character, at least among cartoon characters.  He has so much potential to "come back", he just needs ONE kick ass game, a la the original Sonic, or even Adventure 1 and 2.  I hope he can compete with Mario again one day (actually I hope he kicks Mario' ass, but whatever.......lol)

 What's so horrible about Battle Network games? 

The battle network games are pretty fun if you ask me, but the problem with them is that half of them were really terrible enough to hurt the series.

1 was good for a first try but it felt tedious, I constantly get lost in the internet and its hard to escape battles.

2 is the best along with 3. Great story, good improvements on the gameplay area.

4...is the WORST. Too repetitive, story is some horrid clichefest you'd see from sprite comics. Oh WHY a tournament? D: And the gameplay was lame. Darkchips was also a pointless idea. When you use them, the game gets too easy and you'll lose your Maximum HP. Talk about crappy balance. My friend hated the BN series because of this game.

5 fortunately improved alot. It wasn't the best but the game did felt tedious sometimes. Also End City can goto hell. *hates that non-optional minigame* >:/
PS: Protoman.exe is a lame net navi. I hate him, he's nothing like classic Protoman. Instead of being mysterious and awesome, he's just an asshole.

6 is very good in its gameplay area but the story sucked. It was way too cheesy for my likings. Come on...Cyber Beasts?

Network Transmission...bombed. The game was way too fustrating and unfair. GutsMan was totally cheap, he can kill you in a few hits, and one of his attacks IIRC makes you stuck to the ground. And QuickMan's stage can goto hell, stupid lasers.

With that said, MMBN is really a decent series, but definitely not the best. Star Force IMO is so much better. Looking forward to Star Force 2!

But I'd take classic Mega Man anyday! MMPU anyone? Great MM1 remake...
