SSi12 is correct. 360 numbers have been fairly accurate compared to NPD, and couldn't be off by more than a couple of tens of thousands. We know that Microsoft is around VGC's Europe number, otherwise Sony would revise their expectation for when they will surpass the 360 is others.

It's not as if that was some kind of financial forecast that Sony are going to be constantly revising and informing the press about everytime they do. It's just an internal goal amongst the staff at SCEE.

I have a felling that 360 is definetly overtracked by 400 - 500k.

I mean how can the Wii be sold-out in NA, supply constraited in Europe/PAL region(not sold out but not a ton of stock), and avg stock level in Japan and have 1 million consoles sitting on selves ...

When 360 has - plenty of stock in PAL regions, stock in NA and plenty of stock in Japan and apparenty has less than 500k in retail ...

Sure NPD / VGC matches -- and maybe NA sales are accurate -- could it be that 360 has been over tracked in Europe/ Others by 300 - 400k and 100k margin-of-error in NA+Japan seems resonable ...

The arcade sku seems really succesful here, but why can't we find this sku?

I hope, that for the gta 4 launch these sku will appears (as says amazon.fr), because if it's not the case, France will be a big dissapointment for microsoft.

A lot of frenchies want to buy the 360 actually in France (because GTA 4 deals with 60 euro back), but they can't because no sku in the shop. And they want the arcade sku for a lot (this sku is largely the best at amazon.fr).
