Best Luigi's Mansion?

It's crazy to think we're already in the "spooky" month (i.e. October). In honor of this haunted season, I say it's time we address an elephant in the room: Luigi's Mansion 4. Everyone's always talking about the next 3D Mario and Smash Bros, but I never hear discussion around LM4 despite being of somewhat comparable popularity.

Each entry does things vastly different from the other. The OG focuses on a small handful of gameplay mechanics over a modest, 6-10hr playtime. Dark Moon gets a little more creative in its gameplay mechanics, yet manages this by enforcing a more missions-based structure. The third entry then goes overboard with new ideas, refining many of the ideas from Dark Moon, abandoning the missions-based structure though not fully returning to the structure of the OG (which felt a bit more open-ended IMO).

All that being said... What do you want from Luigi's Manions 4? Would you simply be pleased by a spooky atmosphere closer that of the OG? Are you wanting something bigger, i.e. a bit less arcade-y? Would you want a more open-ended experience, or do you prefer to have your hand held through a 10-hour linear romp?

I like the franchise, but I did not like the third game. I would like to see Nintendo develop it themselves again, as I feel the Gamecube had the best vibes/feel.

I really want a theme park based on different parks like Disney and Universal while doing its own thing.
That or a cruise ship that occasionally anchors near islands with houses or structures.
The first game was a mansion, the second game had multiple mansions and structures, the third game was the massive hotel with tons of non-hotel stuff.
I want 4 to be big. I don't want one mansion again that is maybe bigger than the first game but smaller than the hotel even if it means the game is only $50-$60.
At this rate, Luigi's Mansion 4 could come before 3D Mario. I will be surprised if Nintendo launches 3D Mario next year when we already have a 3D Kirby game coming out. I feel March-November 2028 is the target time for 3D Mario.

I want it to be realistic, like if something happens to Luigi that sucks, he should say something like "fuck" or "shit." That is obviously what we would be saying if we were in that situation, so the fact that he never says anything like that just takes me out of the game. Also there should be blood if there is any situation that calls for it.
I wouldnt mind seeing an M rated Luigi's Mansion. Im just sick of the same old bullshit.

Honestly violence. Blood. Scary monsters.

Just put Luigi in the middle of a Dark Souls game basically.

I remember a YouTuber suggesting having it like an actual “ghost town” with facilities like a library, school, police station, and movie theater. And Luigi can get around using a Poltergust 3000 upgrade that acts like a little car.
