Since DQ XI S was already on the Switch, I don't think the Switch 2 version will have pushed many consoles, and probably neither did FIFA EA Sports FC, though Fire Emblem could have kept it higher than usual.

Either way, I do think the baseline is slowly creeping up again, and while it could dip below 30K again, I do think over the next weeks it should mostly stabilize above that value.

Rhythm Heaven and Tomodachi are doing very well; even in its retirement, Switch 1 is a software beast.

Next potential shakeup should be Switch Sports Resort later this month; could potentially give Switch 2 a decent boost.

Those two games will most likely be the top 2 best selling games of the year in Japan. Shows not only there's a huge audience for those games, but also the Switch 1 has a lot of life in it.

90% drop from week 1 to week 2 for Wolverine; seems there's little interest in it beyond those who bought it right away.

Wonder how much can be contributed to Sony’s presence being much more digital in JP, with the Digital Only SKU so popular for some time now.

Probably quite a bit, and I guess they'll get more and more frontloaded the closer we get to the date where SONY will stop selling physical games, as those who want a physical version won't be able to wait for long anymore.

Rhythm Heaven Megamix , deserves a port for Switch 2
