Unless you have a family and normally around that time of year you spend your money on Xmas presents and all the other things you need to buy around Christmas.

Then the benefit of pre-ordering now so that come November when money gets tighter, you are not forking out for GTA 6.

Why should be money less tight in November when you preorder GTA VI months earlier than keep the money for now and order the game in November? Are the $80 in your account too tempting from now to November to spend it on other things?

Nah. Pre-ordering digital and esp a AAA game in any way is silly. The kids thing and 80 bucks makes no sense either. My brother has kids and put all 3 in college. He's not rich but he invests to put money aside. SERVERS! Well you don't need to be a FOMO buyer. It's just a game. Wait until things settle. A few days. A couple weeks. It's not that serious. If someone gave me a free copy of GTAVI, I still would not play it. I never touched GTAV when offered on PS+ either.
