lulz first comment sicne 4 years! wii should cross 100M by end of this year if not approx 99M

Buying in 2015: Captain toad: treasure tracker,

mario maker

new 3ds

yoshi woolly world

zelda U

majora's mask 3d

Not a chance

Where is our Finnish friend now?

I'd say with a 99$ pricetag and introdution in other markets, it can break 110 million.

Epic thread lol

LET'S GO KNICKS

To be honest, while it's funny to look back on this thread, it really should have been able to clear 200 million, easily.

It would have happened if:
1. Nintendo didn't monumentally drop the ball with releases and marketing the last two-three years
2. Third parties didn't actively seek to discredit it and do everything in their power to halt its progress rather than support it

The thread's not that ridiculous at all, really.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

very valid response.

Holy mother of necro-bumps!

This is a sad thread, as thekitchensink said, things could've gone lot different. 200mil was madness but ...still... you know.

or if they had ever got their online act together and built communities  … those are hard to leave… its hard to believe its not looking like the wii U will have moved much further without real clarity for the big N's online scene.

your the points are very valid… N could have done something to court 3rd parties
