I don't think I ever remember Nintendo announcing pay cuts or lay offs. An exception in the industry in how they operate - and their CEOs and producers / directors. are traditionally paid relatively small wages compared to typical CEOs and directors elsewhere.

My workplace raised my hourly rate by 5% today, so my employer is half as good as Nintendo lmao
If only more workplaces around the world, not just game developers, raised the base salaries of their work forces. That's a good way to help people survive the rising cost of living.
