Of these two series, now sadly long dormant, which did you think was better, and why?

I think Resistance is an overall more consistent series.
But Killzone 2 is the GOAT. MP absolutely rocked.

So I choose KZ cause I'd love to play KZ2. And the PSV entry was very good too.

Killzone mercs on vita is a cracking game.

I love both but Resistance takes the cake easily since its my favourite FPS franchise with great story, fast super fun action, awesome variety of weapons and immersive atmosphere.

I deeply hope for a remaster of the trilogy on PS5 and the ultimate dream will be getting Resistance 4.

LOVED resistance 2 for its story and amazing multiplayer. Really loved the r1 and r3 story to.

Killzone2/3 looked cool and the atmosphere was fantastic!

Howevet i just lovef R2 to much.

The Vita Killzone is the only game in these series I've played lol. It was pretty good for a Vita FPS.

Killzone for me. Such a great atmosphere. Of all the fps games I played they were the favorite ones. I really hope they do a hd remaster so that we can play the ps3 ones again. Otherwise I will have to get a ps3 at some time again.

Somewhat hard choice. But I will go with Killzone, mostly because 2 was actually an insanely original game and Liberation and Mercenaries were amazing handheld experiences. But R3 and Retribution are pretty close behind.

But I do feel that even with the very poor first Killzone game, Resistance still had somewhat more misses with 1/2 and Burning Skies. Only burning Skies was truly mediocre and on the level of Killzone 1. For their time Resistance 1 and 2 were quite well received, but oh boy they did not stand the test of time.

Killzone was fun, specially Killzone 2, but i absolutely adore and love the Resistance series, all 3 were a blast. Gotta go Resistance.

I thought Resistance had a better story, but I wasn't really taken by either's gameplay. They were okay, but not great. At least in my opinion. I was a OG Halo guy back in those days.
