I have more tabs open in FireFox than icons on my desktop ;)

I only have 1 icon on my desktop: a folder without an icon. In this folder are all my desktop shortcuts and a few subfolders and files, which I can sort alphabetically or by type or by size with 1 mouse click.

This way the desktop keeps clean and I can see the desktop wallpapers without all those icons.

I marked that "hidden" folder with the red rectangle:

My desktop is more a screensaver / night light than a desktop. So It's basically a storage folder, the root directory.

This is my actual real desktop, scroll wheel to scroll through the 'task bar' aka tab list.



I also have Edge open since Outlook doesn't play nice with FireFox (Microsoft ugh)



There's bugger all on my desktop.
