Okami
Muramasa: The Demon Blade
Super Paper Mario
Kirby's Epic Yarn

Basically any game that didn't chase highest fidelity and instead went with an unique art style aged much better than the rest.

Lovely looking games, but isn't Okami 6th gen and the rest 2D?

I forgot that Okami came out first on the PS2, I meant the Wii version with the motion controls for the paint mechanic, but still, your point stands.

Muramasa could only be 2D, but Kirby and Paper Mario are actually not sprites but 3D models. Super Paper Mario also had the ability to flip between 2D and 3D, so definitely not just 2D.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengence
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow
DMC
Gear of War
Resistance 2 & 3
Resident Evil 5 & 6
The Evil Within
Dead Space 1, 2 & 3
Dishonored
New Super Mario Bros Wii
Mario Galaxy 2
Minecraft (before I get criticism I like to say the art direction is timeless)

I wanna make a list but it'll be wayyyyy too long. Most big 7th gen games still visually hold up today for me personally. I'll only mention games that haven't been mentioned yet. The Obvious ones for me would be FF13, TLoU, MGS4, Mario Galaxy & Kirby's Epic Yarn. But they have already been mentioned.

Great picks, DMC, Dead Space, Galaxy 2, and RE5 I'd especially agree with.

I'll also throw in Wipeout HD and Super Stardust HD as games that targeted 1080p/60fps with clean striking visuals.
