Splatoon Raiders will boost hardware significantly in Japan, but probably not in the West. Wind/Waves is also a 2027 title, so it could be up to 18 months off.

DK Bananza is a great game, one of my favourites of 2025, but it doesn't really seem to have been a killer app sales wise, while Legends Z-A and Tomodachi are Switch 1 titles so limited in their ability to shift Switch 2 consoles.

As for big games, it doesn't need to be 3D Mario; a new Smash Bros or Animal Crossing would also be a big system seller if done right.

What is Pokopia if not a game that has driven the Animal Crossing crowd to NS2? Same can be said about the NS2 edition of New Horizons and even Tomodachi to an extent. And if Pokémon WiWa is too far off, then why bring up 3D Mario which wouldn’t release sooner than 18 months from now? What games are you looking for? Mario’s coming, Pokopia’s covered Animal Crossing, MarioKart has been here for a while, DK Bananza is showing decent legs,… I can’t see how you aren’t just looking at the few gaps (e.g. Smash Bros) and acting like Switch 2 has little to offer.

Pokopia has indeed proven to be a system seller, though AC would of course be even bigger.

I'm not saying the system doesn't have a lot to offer; personally I'm snowed under with games to play as I play third party titles on it, my concern is more how its sales pace will hold up with the upcoming price hike and no real system sellers currently announced until next year.

An Ocarina remake, if done right, could be such a game, but with the price increasing to $500 that alone might not be enough, so I hope for Nintendo's sake they've got other big games coming later this year that will spur hardware sales and keep the ecosystem healthy.

I don't watch. I expect nothing. Literally nothing. Geoff is a hack and just hypes up garbage. I have skipped the last couple and skipped the last few TGA's. Not worth it. If by some chance in hell something interesting is actually shown I will just see the trailer when it's uploaded hours later or the nest day.

Bite my shiny metal cockpit!

I think we'll get a release date for DQ12. Other than that I don't have any expectations.

As a PC gamer, I'm hoping for big announcements for PC. Last year we got Resident Evil Requiem and some still unreleased titles like Felt That: Boxing, which caught my attention.

But I don't have anything in mind right now, so any big news will work for me.

Aside from big Switch 2 announcements, I'd like to see something on Virtua Fighter 6. Probably not going to pay too much attention otherwise.

It just hit me that we still haven't seen TESVI other than a 20 second CGI teaser.

It's 2026... about time they show at least some in-engine cutscene or something.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

Would be great, but I'm not holding my breath.
