Assuming that Nate's leaks are true - and they're looking good so far - there should be a Switch 2 Sports game coming this summer as well.  I wouldn't expect something on the level of Pokopia or Tomodachi but it's still another far-reaching title to help balance out the core games like Star Fox and an Ocarina of Time remake.

It is believed that the Fitness Boxing 3 NS2 Edition was the “Switch Sports” game that is planned for Summer 2026. Nate mentioned that he didn’t know whether it was a sequel or an NS2 edition, but that it was one of those two for a first-/second-party sport Switch title.

If Nintendo were to somehow cram another game into their summer line up, however, and that game were a follow up to Switch Sports, then yeah, that would be huge. But I cannot see anything more than an NS2 Edition, if the FB3 was not what Nate was referring toward.

That wouldn't surprise me if it was merely a Switch 2 Edition.  Too bad.

As long as Nate is right about the Pikmin 4 Switch 2 Edition, then I'm good.  I would gladly pay ten bucks to play that game again at 60fps.

Pikmin 4 NS2 Edition is one of my most anticipated releases this year, assuming what Nate says holds up. Pikmin 4 sits as my third favorite game of the entire Switch 1 generation, behind only TotK, BotW, and SMOdyssey. Can't think of an NS2 Edition that would get me more excited, especially with how much Nintendo has been priming Pikmin as a franchise in recent times.

Wow at some of these numbers…

Switch 2 and King Switch 1 both slaying

With these numbers, DK Bananza has cracked half a million physically.

Switch 2 to PS5 ratio for this week is 23.5:1.

How much should it be with digital included? I hope it clears 1m when all's said and done.

God, I really hope this game has some legs in the long run, cause we really need go assure at least one 3D DK per generation going forward.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

Probably around a million in Japan including digital; we know it's about 4.5m globally.

I'd like to see more DK games as well; it is certainly done decently, though I feel like the IP's long absence led its sales power to diminish a bit.

On the bright side, as an early release it will have almost the Switch 2's entire life to sell, so maybe it can make it to like 7-8m by the time all's said and done.

It's 750,000 in Japan including digital. This is from Nintendo's FY 2026.

Cheers; so that's as of 31st of March I take it, since that's when the FY ended? Should be a bit higher by now then, two months later.

God, I'll be one happy gamer if they do a Pikmin 4 NS2 Edition. I've been holding off from playing it bc I knew they would eventually have an upgrade for the new gen. It'll be fantastic to play it at 4k60FPS with little to no visible jaggies.
