I wouldn't launch day 1 on PC though, that does hurt brand.  It needs to be delayed launched.  I went with other, more details below.

The “PC.” vote never states day one, but that it would release on PC. That could be day 1 or day 730. Though I’ve added a note to OP to clarify to avoid further confusion.

I get it, and I wasn't trying to add confusion.  But I do think there is a difference between Day 1 and Day 730.  Honestly a pretty big difference, if not massive.  It felt worth clarifying my point on what Sony/MS should do.  Even Nintendo, if I am honest.

Either way, you might be in the same boat, for me consoles have lost value.

Series X: $650

ps5: $650

PSN: 6 years x $80 @ $480

Nintendo Online: 6 years x $80 @ $480

Total: $2,260....  which builds a heck of PC that will be ps6 like in power/ability, meaning I don't need to buy a $800 ps6..  which takes me to $3,000...

All good. And I agree there is a major difference, especially for those who own a nice gaming PC. (Also, NSO is $20/year, no? Unless you want the N64 games, then that’s $50.)

Fair, $50 a year and not $80.  I honestly don't know the details, with a PC I just emulate and save the money.  PC emulation is better anyway, IMO.  Majora and Banjo can be played at 120 fps, 4k with HD textures.  Ocarina is coming soon.  The Nintendo subscription, IMO, is grossly overpriced.

Compared to Sony the Nintendo subscription is not overpriced let alone grossly overpriced.  For $35 a year (about $4.50 per person per year) myself and 7 other people can play online and get access to around 150 games.  For 80 a year you and 7 other people get access to 300 games and online play ($10 per person per year).  I get that is not a great value if you are just pirating games but then again nothing else would be.

I am referencing more the classic games being behind a paywall.  The issues I have are multiple.  The first being I already bought them on the Wii, paid for an upgrade on the Wii-U...  they don't port over to the S1 nor S2, and are stuck behind a paywall.  And there are too many great games missing.  Add in limited upgrades and QoL for their classic games.  I think it is grossly overpriced.  I only went emulation because of how terrible of a deal it is.
