Y’know, I tend to think of myself as somebody who looks at things on the bright-side… but man, I cannot stand traveling in groups. No time to be myself: I’m partner in my hotel room, I’m required to travel in groups of four at all times (the university can’t risk “losing a student across the pond”). I have no liberty in what foods I eat, in how my days are structured, etc.

I was dreading this trip coming in, I really loved experiencing Ireland, but yeah, please get me out of here lol. I’ve got one more day then I fly home to Yoshi/Bubsy/Dusk and my normal life, thank God!

Anyhow, now that I’ve got that out of my system, what are your thoughts on group travelling?

You share a room when you travel?

I’m on a university trip. It’s required. As a graduate student amidst a sea of undergrads, oomphf it sucks.

Yeah, **** that.  Deal breaker for me.  I mean undergraduates are adults..  they shouldn't need someone to hold their hand.

Doesn't sound like something I'd exactly want, but it's also not something I've experienced in a really long time. The last time I did, there were certainly aspects I didn't enjoy.

Agree, big groups suck. But a tight group of friends is fine. Or just one best friend is great. Solo traveling is difficult, I tend to sleep a lot then.

Yeah this stuff is hell for me, I need my own space, my own time, my own autonomy and routine like I need oxygen.
