To wrap up my streak of daily VGChartz threads, I thought I’d finally post a thread idea I’ve been wanting to do for ages: Game of the Quarter.

After all, why wait until the end of the year to spotlight all the great games that have already released?

Classic case of “Too Many Games” Syndrome, I see. Lol I’m in the exact same boat— I’ve only played NSMBWii, Super Mario 64 Star Road [ROM Hack], Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, SMB2 USA, and SMBWonder DLC.

In my case I don't really remember what I was playing in Jan and Feb, I guess Ghost of Tsushima, Yotei, DQ III remake, Dispatch and some games in my backlog like Hitman and Sackaboy though some of those could be actually be played in December.  Sometimes I play Baldurs Gate 3 and Elden Ring Nightreign with friends too

But in March I took a one month vacation and avoided playing games, it's a good detox sometimes but yeah, hard to follow all releases. Recently played Metroid 4 but didn't really like it, I think I will drop indeed 

As someone who has played none of these games: I think it's too easy. Requiem is probably the only announced game for this year I'm even sure I'm gonna get (unless you count Deltarune Chapter 5, but I technically already paid for that).

Fatal Frame 2 is my game of the year so far.

RE Requiem for me, absolutely amazing game with just the right blend of old school survival horror and new school action.

Romeo is a Deadman is my GoTy so far
