Iran war twist; Trump’s allies Saudi Arabia and UAE in trouble for complicity
The new revelation on the role of Saudi Arabia and the UAE in the war against Iran has given legitimacy to the Iranian retaliatory strikes in those countries. This was after two separate media reports claimed that the UAE and Saudi Arabia had carried lout strikes inside Iran during the war. This came on a day US President Donald Trump lost his cool when a reporter grilled him over the Iran conflict. Rifat Jawaid argues that the revelations on the role played by Saudi Arabia and the UAE have made these two countries increasingly vulnerable in the event of any resumption of war.
This one hits hard, about Gaza and the video at the end.
A little update as things are still going nowhere (while Lebanon is now bearing the brunt of Israel's genocide)
Trump met with 'laughter and silence' by US allies in Gulf region
Wednesday, May 27, 2026: First, US President Donald Trump's attempts at finding a deal with Iran are under a lot of scrutiny. Next, the EU is asked to consider the environmental impact of mega data centres, as locals fight back against projects which might harm the environment.
Prepare for gas and food prices to keep climbing. Netanyahu clearly still is in control
US President Donald Trump rejected claims made by official Iranian media regarding the easing of restrictions and the unfreezing of assets as part of a peace deal. Trump also issued an ultimatum to Oman for attempting to work with Iran on the future management of the Strait of Hormuz.
TACO Monday, Iran isn't waiting anymore
Iran threats force Trump to make massive U-turn, negotiate with Hezbollah
US President Donald Trump on Monday first dismissed Iranian threats to pull out of peace negotiations before calling Benjamin Netanyahu to halt the Lebanon offensive. Reflecting the urgency of the situation, Trump even initiated indirect negotiations with Hezbollah. Rifat Jawaid examines whether today's extraordinary developments are a sign of Iranian superiority in the conflict.
By now Trump must know that he's been tricked by Netanyahu in a forever war.
He thought this is like Venezuela. Take out the leader and they will fold. Job done in a week or so. Declare victory and be lauded with praise. But Iran isn't like Venezuela.
Any 'peace deal', will end up being bombed by Netanyahu to keep the conflict ongoing. And Trump's ego is to big to just accept the defeat, pack up and go.
What a shit show.

Speaking of which... Trump appears to be getting frustrated with Netanyahu pulling the football away every time he's about to try and kick it.

Was Trump really tricked or a willing showman to sell wars for Israel to the American public? The Iran war is the final stage in the 5 war plan and a victory would be the ultimate achievement to establish Israel as the unrivaled hegemon in the Middle East and a "global power" as Net&Yahoo recently said. This plan for global Israel will not just be TACOed away like any other political goal.
He said: “We are turning Israel into a regional power, and in some aspects, a global power. We need a very strong defense, independent production capacity, and to deepen our relative advantage.”

Prepare for higher prices again, the blockade has escalated to the Red Sea as well now
More missile strikes by Iran as Netanyahu defies Trump; Houthis block Red Sea
Iran has launched more missile strikes after Benjamin Netanyahu defied US President Donald Trump on his request to not escalate. Yemen's Houthis too have joined the conflict, firing two rounds of missiles while announcing a blockade of the Red Sea. Rifat Jawaid examines the renewed confidence of the Iranian military after a prolonged period of ceasefire.
*We destroyed Iran's Military completely*
Today *They shot down our Helicopter!!!!*

The US and Iran just made a deal.

As of yesterday,
$24 billion in frozen assets released during the 60 day negotiating window and they want half BEFORE final talks even begin. They literally said "pay me first, THEN we'll talk." And Trump said, ok.
Oil sanctions get waived immediately so Iran can sell oil freely during that same window. Iran estimates that's nearly $10 billion in oil revenue in 60 days alone. So they're getting paid in cash AND in oil checks. Oh and THEN there is a draft floating around committing the US and regional partners to a $300 BILLION reconstruction program for Iran if a final deal lands.
TLDR: US, and Israel bombed Iran, Iran held the Strait hostage, and now we owe them $300 billion plus a monthly oil check. Iran came to a fistfight and left with a stimulus package and a business license.
Trump posted "Ships of the World, start your engines" on Truth Social and called it a W.
That's the art of the deal, folks.
Let's see if Israel does something to sabotage it.
