ehh yes man, US is always the bad guy precisely hitting terrorist military ammunition camps with minimal civillians losses without occupying foreign land, and Russia is always the good guy turning whole cities into ruins with its civillians burried underneath while occupying land in most of its neighbors

Yes there is.  Has been for a long time.

People want to pin everything on the US by ignoring Iran is a terrorist country that was well on their way to make nukes.

I don't mind busting the US up, but people ignoring the threat of Iran and pretending they are the victim blows my mind.

Proof grooming and conditioning works.

Where's all that pro Russia stuff on this site you are talking about? Because as much as I know, there's a lot of criticism against USA and Russia murdering and bombing others all the time here.

And maybe, just maybe there's some truth behind that USA really likes to bomb countries for reasons which are not only "helping people and saving the planet" if so many around the world have that feeling decade after decade.

It's just hard to believe that Israel and USA had to attack Iran now because waiting even until summer (with more talks between Iran and them) would've been too long already and Iran would've attacked Israel by then.

As much as there seems to be always some weird taste in our mouth when there's the next war with USA involved and the reasoning for that.

Almost nobody here cares about those terrorists on Iran's side who died now but it just doesn't even feel the slightest as if Israel and USA even tried to get to an agreement before starting this war which can cause ten thousands or even hundred thousands of death, many more injured ones and millions of people who have to leave their homes.

In fact, the US have now made their strikes twice during negotiations, first with Venezuela and then with Iran.

Do you really want to negotiate with someone who doesn't care about it and instead will attack you during the talks?

By the way, attacking a country while negotiations are underway is one of the gravest violations of humanitarian law.

You know, it's not a bad thing to be critical of a country's actions.

Being critical is how people do better. It's part of how you prevent someone from abusing their power, by being critical about how they're using it.

A joke?

Again, like I said before you can be critical of a lot of different things. Being critical of America, doesn't mean you support Iran.

That's not what makes a country a dictatorship.

No, we're able to have nuanced views that two wrongs don't make a right.

Are people praising Iran for being a great country in here?

I am so tired as an American to keep seeing how US keep doing Israel dirty work. US is Israel puppet. Netanyahu has been caught saying he in battle with Rome which some interpreted as reffering to Western civilization as well as USA.

Iran tries to de-escalate, what does Trump do:

Iran sends first significant message of de-escalation, but with a major caveat

Shortly after Pezeshkian’s statement, US President Donald Trump wrote on Truth Social that Iran had “surrendered to its Middle East neighbors” and that it “will be hit very hard” today, with areas of the country under consideration for “complete destruction and certain death.”

Iran’s army issued its own statement saying that if offensive actions against Iran continue, “all military bases and interests of the criminal American regime and the fake Zionist regime on land, sea, and air in the region will be the main targets” of “crushing and severe strikes by the powerful Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.”

Pezeshkian said the decision to stop attacks on the Gulf unless strikes on Iran originated from those countries’ territories was taken Friday. On Saturday morning, Iran fired 16 ballistic missiles and 121 drones on the United Arab Emirates alone.

His comments came with the condition that territories of Gulf Arab states, which host several large US military bases, are not used to launch attacks against Iran. Pezeshkian’s office stressed in an “explanation” statement after his speech that Iran would “give a decisive response to any aggression from American bases.”

A lot of information between the lines there.

Iran's military is acting on its own. There is no 'Iran' currently, decapitating the leadership was planned for and now there are decentralized factions all over Iran making their own decisions. While Trump is fully on board with Netanyahu to turn Iran into Gaza.

US and Israel made their own fears come true. Iran isn't going to roll over like Lebanon, Venezuela etc.

US is fighting to keep control over the world's energy flows, oil, gas in particular, controlling all the shipping lanes. (Don't forget what's happening in the South China sea, Panama canal Trump wants to take it back, Suez canal through supporting Egypt's Sisi)

Iran is fighting an existential war and has been preparing for this 'event' for decades. And now the more moderate voices in Iran that urged restraint and negotiations have been killed by US/Israel.
