That's nice! Hopefully they turn out great. First mainline game I suppose.

| h2ohno said: I'll say this, Gen 10 looks way better graphically than any of the Switch 1 games. The graphics reminded me a lot of New Pokemon Snap, which looked way better than any of the mainline games. Plus the water effects are great, making this a change from the usual Switch 2 standard of water effects being the most noticeable downgrade. It's not pushing the hardware like the Star Wars Outlaws and Assassin's Creed Shadow ports, but I think it's good enough for Pokemon, and since there's still a ways till release, it might get even more polished. |
Pokemon Snap is really cute, I think it looks better than the newly showed Pokemon game even, though Snap is at its core a game to take photos so models are much more static with very few physics and interactivity
I think New Snap uses a more cartoonish art style, a more colorful palette and this blends better with characters and Pokemons
Wind/Waves seems to use more realistic models to nature, water, etc which can contrast a bit with the Pokemons and characters, even if the models themselves are higher quality and detailed compared to Snap

Wait, until now they only had PT from Portugal and not Portuguese-BR?
Well, I’ll be damned!
GF and TPC actually listened! They’re giving these games time to cook!
What I saw already was very impressive (Far more impressed from Wi/Wa than what I initially saw from Sw/Sh and S/V.)
I’m more than happy to wait any extra year if we get an even better game as a result.
2027 it is!!

They had no Portuguese at all, since Nintendo had no presence in Brazil and Portugal is a tiny market.

Pokopia seems like it has potential yeah.
Sad that it's a GKC.

Cara na verdade eu to super preocupado agora, porque caramba traduzir o nome do jogo? Vai estar escrito Ventos e Ondas na capa? Já tem até logo... eu odeio tradução em nome de jogos, vou ter que importar pelo visto =/

Darn, that 2027 release date was a let down… but also (i) Pokémon Company is *finally* giving their mainline games extra time to cook (first time I believe in franchise history where >3y separate mainline titles, if I’m not mistaken?), and (ii) the big Holiday 2026 title is now open(!!).
The game looks phenomenal!! And to think we’re still nearly two years away from launch… this is going to be a long wait. That last shot they gave genuinely gave me chills: reminded me a lot of the feeling I get whenever I watch BotW/TotK footage. Not the most graphically mindblowing, but a massive step up for ScVi and even ZA! Starters look incredible as well— yeah, this is easily a Day One purchase for me. I haven’t been this hyped for a video game in a while. Never have I been so excited for Pokémon game!
