I wish Pokémon returned to its root and did 2D games again using sprites. Seriously, if they can create a branch of games with the Legends games, they could create a 2D old-style games too. Idk man. In the reveal of Gens VIII and IX, they were very shy. I think they only showed the starters trio and the legendaries in Gen 8 and only the legendaries in 9, as far as I remember, at least

This Pokémon game is coming out 1 year later than expected tho, I think they have more to show about this one.

Pokémon Winds and Waves confirmed, but only for 2027. Apparently Switch 2 exclusive.

And we only got to see the 3 starters unless there was some hidden pokémon in the trailer.

I expected too much lol.

That was a horribly produced presentation overall, but I'm very happy that gen 10 is only coming next year. Hopefully that means we'll get a more finished game.

Makes me wonder what Nintendo's plans for late 2026 are, though, without Pokémon. Maybe just The Duskbloods?

Probably because it was rational to expect  the release in the year of the anniversary. 

They realized a bit late that is better for longer gaps between two Gens. 😜

I think they'll properly showcase it, with gameplay reveal and many new pokémons being shows during it.

Pokémon was once my favorite franchise ever, the Pokémon Fever happened when I was a boy, I was all over it.

In fact, I used to play Pokémon Crystal so much when my family travaled back to my birth city for the holidays, a younger cousin would spend long hours playing on my GBA with me until he got a GBA SP, and all we would ever chat was about Pokémon, he came to visit during the Carnaval and he always tell me I'm the reason he got into it, and he can't (doesn't want to) escape anymore lol.
