Oh and thst music, it's better than good but none of it stands out. I doubt there is a single bit of the OST that feels it will be iconic or even nostalgic and recognizable.

Again, the game is great, a real treat and the best TTP like video game I have ever played but I still think Larian should have kept some of their tight, video gaming feeling aspects that they are so good at. I'm also sick of Jump, it's a nessessity, walking or using speed spells or what not feel pointless. And like again, about the leveling, it would just be nice to get to chose your stats with more freedom... it tells me they had a balance problem and had to limit things, the game probably falls apart if you were allowed to max a few stats but why bother having stat points at all if it's mostlt all automatic 🤔

Mountain Pass OST disagrees.

I have to say though, it feels like so much of an adventure than the DOSs. It feels more vast and while I thought that was a drawback at first, I think I prefer it now.

It’s easily my favourite track in the game. Link to YT

Oh yeah, that's the stuff, distinct and high fantasy feeling, that does stand out. I want more of that, alas, maybe it's just the dark tone of my route. Does the mountain pass lead straight to the shadow lands, the same as the Underdark?

I'd go back but I fear it might make me OP.

Game is justly deserved for it's praise just for having no micro-transactions, in-game shops, battle passes or other scrupulous money making schemes... Yet lots of FREE post-release support.
However it did not "gel" with me on a personal level, I rather Dragon Age: Origins or my favorite... Neverwinter Nights.
If I want to go retro... Arcanum, Icewind Dale, Planescape Torment tickles that itch... Or completely bizarre with Dink Smallwood.
