It was finally announced!

What do you expect from it? When do you think it'll be released?

Personally I'm insanely hyped for it, but I think the game will be released mid 2029, so it's very plausible to say the PS6 will be already out by then.

My prediction is April 6, 2029.

I hope they can at least make a mode where you play it as one single game, sure, between 1 and 2 you can say something like "X time later", as there are cannon games between those games, but keep the game a continuous experience, carrying over gear, skill and upgrades until the points in 2 and 3 that shakes things up.

I also hope it stays as a hack and slash, they can use the Norse saga camera instead of the Greek saga fixated camera, but they need to make sure the gameplay stays agile and the scale of those games is keep as awesome as they were back then.

I hope it's a passion project, and that they deliver a very high quality game as they always did with the new games for the series. If they get it right this can be one of the best games of all time.

Was just a Logo so have absolutely no idea. Could be 2028-2029 could be later.

They did a Nintendo with their Prime 4 logo at E3 2017.

But as it's the series anniversary I guess they wanted to announce it now.

I think the earliest is 2028... sadly.

Hopefully it doesn't fall foul of current trends towards censorship, though I expect at least a few things from the original will be neutered to avoid pissing off the pearl clutchers.

Agreed, I personally do hope nothing at all is censored, that's part of what Kratos was, but I fully expect, sadly, that the sexual minigames will be completely removed. Hopefully at least not from a story moment we have on 3, that would be pathetic.

Can't say I am hyped for games I already played and enjoyed. But I am still a bit intrigued. I have played a lot of remakes over the years, but that is because I never played them before, so hopefully this brings more people into the glory of the OG trilogy and then they make another God of War in Greek mythology.

Day 1, love those games. I would be ok with some censorships, the sex scenes are just immature, IMO.

They are silly, but they are what they are, that's also part of what Kratos had become back then, if they take things away from his past then his regret and development would be pointless on the future games.

Kratos needs to be able to brutally kill civilians to regain HP, be a massive dick to the boat captain, have sex with a lot of women to try to forget his past, and all of that. That was what he was.

I'm opposed to any changes for the sake of being more in line with how modern days view it, even Sonic being a dick with Amy and holding her back was removed from Generations intro, but that crazy in love young Amy was part of her character and I heard it serves as a plot point for development in Frontiers, so removing it and pretending it did not happen is actually a problem to character development in other games.
