- Switch 1 is struggling. Oomphf! That’s a steep drop YoY.
- Switch 2 is holding very well! More than double NS1 CY’18 figures.
- PS5 is doing as usual— still a bit disappointed that the price cut from September did effectively nothing to bolster hardware sales.
- XBSXS did quite well this week. FH6 perhaps help? Or maybe a sale?
- PS4 selling 22 units is good to know, I suppose. Not gonna be hitting any milestones at that pace lol but more data is always a net positive.

The Switch 2 keeps trucking along and its version of the DQ7 remake opening almost as strongly as the Switch 1 version shows that it won't be that long till it starts outright dominating these charts. For the Switch 1 it has its first week under 10k and 9k to boot so it is declining sharply right now though apparently there are stock issues which makes sense considering the sudden collapse of the OLED model this week so it seems it could be selling better than this currently but the question is how much Nintendo will even bother to fix this when they've shown no interest in continuing to push Switch 1 sales. If they don't then the PS5 could start consistently being in 2nd place going forward and around 10k seems to be what it'll be selling a typical week this year.

xbox is on fire go little guy go!

Has the long awaited cliff, as foretold by the prophet quickrick finally arrived. The prophecy has finally after so many years come to fruition.

Well its been only 8 years right? Some believers of a certain god have been talking about the end of days for 2026 years.

Talking about gaming there are still some who says sony/ps/ are in "decline" yet they making recore profits.

It's all in the eyes of the beholder.

"Facts" or whatever you like to say.

DQ7R Retail Total is 456.462, any idea what digital adoption is with in the region I know Japan as a region often averages 50:50 ratio?

Are Switch OLEDs sold out or why the steep drop from last week?

A price cut wasn't going to change the PS5's trajectory in any meaningful way in the region, but it will finish the year closer to 8m than I thought previously.  Last year, I was predicting a <10k baseline for the PS5 with a fair chance of <500k total, so the cheaper model should give it an extra 100k+ for the year (expecting ~600k now).
