Not great but still nice and for sure one of the better ones they've done. Good to see that it'll be a lot easier now for people to get into the Metal Gear series going forward.

This State of Play was jam packed with so many great announcements and updates.

Kena, Control: Resonant, Castlevania: Belmont's Curse, MGS Collection Volume 2, Star Wars: Galactic Racer, Saros, with God of War: Son of Sparta shadow dropped at the end. Definitely need more information on who's developing the God of War Trilogy Remake. I actually wouldn't mind Bluepoint working on this for their next project lol.

Magik has been in 3 big games including this in the last 4 years. Danger fits that mentality but my god, it's a dull choice, sorry. 

Nearly all of the cast of New Mutants, Exiles, Excalibur or X-force would have been more interesting than Magik and Danger.

I didn't watch the show, but judging by the content from the show, it was very solid but not super-exciting. Good stuff for sure.

Wow!! That was incredible!!! Oh my gosh. I’m so happy I sold my PS5, because now I won’t feel so overwhelmed by the wave of releases coming so soon lol. That GoW 2D & Remake of the OG Trilogy? Mina the Hollower? Darwin’s Paradox? (Finally got news on Rayman… though I’d rather just emulate using Duckstation.) Castlevania? Silent Hill?? Just bomb after bomb!

Man… I’m so freaking happy to have gotten news on Mina and Darwin. And the Castlevania + GoW 2D titles look like they’ll be an absolute blast. I’m stunned. Nintendo better respond— and soon. They just got utterly shown up by Sony today.

Solid show, not amazing, but best show of 2026 by a long shot.

I will give it a 6/10:

- Kena 2 is set to be great.
- Free DLC for GoY. ( Free DLC from a big publisher is always great )
- First look at CONTROL Resonant.
- free demo for Mina the Hollower.
- GoW trilogy remake is amazing news, but they had nothing to show! Too early to announce it, that's a big mistake.

Spider-Man 2 coming to PS+ is also very nice. I mean, a great deal of Playstation gamers never played it.
