I have no idea who that character is and what game they are from. I can tell the character is meant to look like Idris Elba though.

I can tell by the games visual art that it's Cyberpunk 2077.
Happy to be wrong on that though.

Am I a joke to you?

(As in: how the heck it took so long for someone to remember me?) XD

Yeah it's Solomon Reed from Cyberpunk's Phantom Liberty expansion. Great character, both a badass and morally complex.

Also D-Mob (voiced by Christopher Judge - AKA Teal'c... if anyone besides me actually watched SG1)

Here's D-Mob vs Crow (Snoop) with a track by former President Joe Budden.

I'd love to see this game series remastered for current gen.

And of course, this guy right here. Final Fantasy's first black playable character.

Seconding.

Funny thing, it was Barret that made me seriously consider the environment, and that followed me through into adulthood.

Since this game is my new obsession, I will start with Scherazard from Trails in the Sky

I wish we had more Arabian Nights inspired baddies (and settings too but I'm being greedy).

Excited for Chapter 2! (Chapter 1 is my 8 year old niece's favorite game so far and she can't wait for the sequel either).

You might want to play Trails trough the Daybreak then. Also she is not really black imo. More Arabian /Turkish/Greece (with a weird eye and hair colour for that region) than black. Unless everything that's non-white equals black.

Anyways if we count Scherazard I nominate Naje.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

In all honesty, and no disrespect at all, but I don't understand how this girl can be considered black. I'm Brazilian, caucasian, because of my father, but my mother (also Brazilian), who is considered white here in our Country, has skin way darker that this character.

For the record, here is what she looks like in game:

And here is her artwork from the original Trails in the Sky (the one above is from the remake):

Race stuff always gets muddled in fantasy settings imo, because she is from the fictional land of "Liberl", but I knew she would be a controversial pick, but I wanted to bring her up anyway because again, Trails is my newest obsession. But sorry if she is not a good pick for this.

I am Brazilian too btw and I have a black friend who has a pretty light skin, though.

How about Dee Jay from Street Fighter?
