Also, how do you define conpletionist on a third party Nintendo game? For example Vampire Survivors? How would you define that game as 100%'d?

Same way you’d define 100% completion for any game, no? Like for Paper Mario TTYD, there’s an entire checklist online with what would be sufficient for a 100% completion (e.g. all badges, all locations, all sidekicks, etc.).

No this gets tricky with some games, like really tricky. You can plat Diablo 4 on PS4/5 but if Diablo 4 were to release on Switch 2, there is no 100%. Where would you even draw the line? All gear obtained for all classes?

Refer to the last method.

I just plated Vampire Survivors and all the trophies matched the in game check list. If you play the switch version just cross check with PS trophies. Explain Diablo 4 issue.

What counts as 100% on Diablo 4? Killing Lilith but do you need to max every class to 100 which isn't a requirement for the plat but is for a 100% completion? Then there are things like cleaning all the fog of War which counts to the plat but you wouldn't needed to do it for 100% completion.

I'll commit to 10 Platinums again, not including any auto pop trophies (like TLOU2 remaster I am currently playing).

Current new game I am playing: Lego Horizon Adventures.

I think the confusion may be my use of the word completion. I renamed it to the completionist league because the trophy league sounded to PS focused; I wanted a general term. We are still using trophy list to determine 100%. Whatever the base game trophies would be for PS, that would determine would be 100% or Switch.

BTW guys, there is no pledge count this time. I want this to be both core  and causal for a lack of terms at the moment. I ill update OP with what I mean

Gotcha.

Sorry for not keeping this thread active. This year I'm teaching myself Spanish, working on a personal project (Designing a card game!) among other things. Much more excited about those things than playing video games.

I have yet to choose a game. Heavily leaning towards Visions of Mana (I was suppose to do this game 100 times last year) but I can just tell its going to be a mid experience BUT, I really want it off my backlog. Also considering Final Fantasy II Pixel Remaster, but I don't want to spend too much playing games I've played a lot in the past. Looking for more modern games but so many of them are like 80 hours plus ... ugh. Gamers block at the moment.

Gonna finish OP tonight.

First platinum of the year. Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. 123hrs, man what a journey that was.
