I got two board games:

  • Iberia
  • Why are you like this?

But the real stuff will come with the Three Wise Men.

I can complete this now that it is the Epiphany. In Spain the "good" children get the presents today!
Luckily this time around more gaming stuff landed:

  • Gameboy Lego set
  • Switch 2 Pro controller
  • MP4 Beyond
  • DK Bananza

An infection that's taken two weeks of antibiotics to get under control, cos my immune system has imploded due to stress haha

Bought myself a new TV, as the old one is really showing it's age, but after three weeks the damn thing still hasn't arrived, fml

Damn, hope you get better now. My wife is in the same boat, still sick from Christmas. Her immune system has imploded due to the medications she has to take, which are now on hold as well. Our youngest got sick just before the holiday, my wife managed to avoid it until Christmas. After our older kid had caught it as well it was pretty much inevitable.

It's the same thing every year, whatever spreads around in school before the holidays becomes my wife's Christmas gift :(

That and a near 2K repair bill for the car (which I have to bring back again today since a tire pressure sensor still isn't working) plus the 'bad' news our dog is healthy enough for another 3 years lol. He keeps us up at night, has to go pee every hour or two ugh, he's 13 already. That together with coughing all the time means hardly any sleep.

Always great to start the new year sick and sleep deprived lol.

At least our presents all arrived despite the weather conditions.

Thanks; it is improving a bit with medication.

And yeah this is the third Xmas period in a row for me where illness came up; last year I got a nasty respiratory bug (thought it was covid bu 3 tests were negative) and a pox virus, and in 2023 by girlfriend came down with covid during family Christmas.

We have a doggie too, he is about to turn 2, little Groodle haha:
