Forums - Movies & TV - Rob Reiner (director of Misery, Princess Bride,Stand By Me) and wife found dead

Their deaths are being investigated as a homicide.

Not a lot of details. But, it's been reported that their son, Nick Reiner, has been escorted off the property.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

Who cares? What are they famous for?

That is insane. When Harry Met Sally is one of the best rom-coms. This is Spinal Tap and Stand by Me are classics too. He had a strong run in the 80s and early 90s. What a terrible way to die.

Was sad to hear about it this morning. I had just watch Spinal Tap II: The End Continues this weekend. Stand by Me is one my favorite coming to age stories and he directed others greats like The Princess Bride and A Few Good Men.

I heard it was being investigated as a homicide.  That is about all I heard though.

Edit: Very sad to hear, Meathead made some really good movies.

Sad news looks like his son killed him and his wife he is the lead suspect at the moment.

Oh damn, thats messed up

Shame, i really like many of his movies.

So sad. How do Americans raise their kids? Having kids killing their parents is absurdity.

The American cultural upbringing can be a little strange to some; however, kids killing their own parents is not exclusive to the USA.
