One of the longest running questions/topics of discussion and debate is always "What is the Mount Rushmore of (insert topic here)."
From music, to movies, to sports, to food, to even everyday scenarios "The Mount Rushmore of annoying things through the day - Stuck in Traffic, Nonstop Phone Calls, A Boss who Won't Shut Up, a Disappointing Dinner Meal."
So I was watching my favorite LP channel, the Super Gaming Bros. (Good to have you back, Johnny, Elliot, Matt, and Greg!) and in one of their playthroughs during their Bat-a-Thon (A marathon of LPs for Batman video games) they mentioned their 'Mount Rushmore of SEGA Genesis games." And they each listed their own "Sonic 2, Sonic 3 & Knuckles, Streets of Rage, etc.)
And that got me thinking, "Hmmm, what would be my Mount Rushmore of various consoles I've owned or of each console?"
So what say you guys? What are THE Four games you think of when you think of a particular system?
NES:
- Super Mario Bros. - It's Mario 1, nuff said.
- The Legend of Zelda - It's Zelda 1, nuff said.
- Metroid - It's Metroid 1, nuff said.
- Super Mario Bros. 3 - Still considered by many to be the best 2D Mario game and one of the best Mario games, period. And a blueprint than almost every 2D Mario game and various other 2D platformers follow.
