Forums - Microsoft - The damn 360 dragged me back in, again

Thanks for the suggestions, all.

There are a few games I am tossing up on; Lost Planet looks intriguing, but I'm worried it will be too hard as I kinda suck at challenging games and tend to just quit when I get stuck, as I play games to relax rather than stress out.

I wanna play Max Payne 3, and in fact I already buy a copy, but I got literally 5 minutes into it and a room fail to load, making progress impossible. I'm not sure if it's worth buying another disc if the same shit's gonna happen again.

Weighing up Ace Combat Assault Horizon, as I did really love AC6 and 7, and while series fans tend to hate it, I'm not a purist so I think there's a chance I might still enjoy it.

The only other thing is I am kinda loading up on shooters atm, so kinda looking for a bit more variety as well so I don't get burned out.

If you like Racing games with power-ups, I strongly recommend Blur.

It's a very beautiful game that many people missed. Fun gameplay and stunning graphics.

This one has been on my radar, I just kinda shied away from pulling the trigger cos I heard a few folks say it's quite hard, which is a turnoff for me personally, as I play games to kick back and chill and find hard games too stressful.

How is the difficulty?

It's been quite some time since I last played it, but I don't remember having any problem with the difficulty.

In this game you gain points (lights) by finishing in a good position and doing some extra challenges. Then you unlock boss battles and other chapters, and I don't remember having problems to beat the first rival.

I need to play it again, but from my memory, you don't need a lot of lights to progress, so you can even skip some harder challenges. The racing is really, really fun. You have a lot of weapons and recovery itens to help you along the way.

Lost Planet isn't really difficult. Just adjusting to 20 year old controls that are not Gears of War.

I know the slim is way more reliable hardware wise, but if i had the choice id be gaming on the original white model. The only problem is that the ui is crap. The older ui was way better. That would be the ideal experience.

Total Championships: Nintendo - 4, Sony - 2, Atari - 1, Microsoft - 0, Sega - 0

Just bought infinite undiscovery about a week ago and am going to buy lost odyssey.

Beat the latter back in the day but will replay it... At some point.

Never ended up finishing infinite undiscovery. I'll get to that one first.
