I think about it but honest pandora's box was opened long ago.

I feel like you need therapy and I'm not saying that to offend you, we all need therapy in some point of our life. Mixing "AI is going to take our jobs" with "I better kill myself than sell my videogames" isn't the best sign of mental health.

Maybe you are just going through a rough moment but if you have the necessity to express all of this to some strangers on the internet maybe talking with someone who can actually help you wouldn't be a bad idea.

Ai/robots Are Going to take over most of our jobs though, it cant be stopped.

So did industrialization and automation. Robots taking over jobs has already happened in many blue collar jobs. Now AI is going to reduce office jobs. The real challenge is the speed the coming change is coming at us.

What is does do is open up a whole lot of people for environmental jobs! Time to clean up our mess. As well as health care and education still badly needing more people.

I feel like the world as a whole has no future. Between population collapse, global warming, and the rise of billionaires and AI datacenters aiming to take everyone's jobs, I feel like the future will be horribly dystopian. This isn't just a left vs right thing either. Right wingers know that people aren't having enough kids to replace themselves, which makes society collapse like Korea's.

Why do you see a (slow and peaceful) population decline as a bad thing?

This planet is overpopulated by humans and the resources are limited.

In the long run, the world would be a much better place with less people.

Almost seems AI is coming at the right time to free up the job market for elderly care! The immediate future is in nursing homes with the aging populations in the West. The reduction in sedentary office jobs and fewer overall work hours, will also make for a healthier population.

That's as long as people aren't going to spend that extra time making more people again :p

There is no population collapse it's just a fake theory right wingers made up to have a ton of children and not be judged by others. The overall global population is going to grow bigger for at least another 30 years before there will be a slight decline in the population.

Death is inevitable.

I’d be surprised if we even get to the end of this decade. I very much doubt it. I made peace along time ago that I’ll never die peacefully of old age. So honestly Im not worrying about it, nothing I can do to stop the end coming I’m just going to make sure I’m first in line to greet it with open arms when it does.

Ride The Chariot | ‘25 Completion

Humans used to die in their 30's on average for hundreds of thousands of years. Life always finds a way, and when humans time on this earth is over, new species will rise up maybe even more advanced than us.

The human race is very screwed up and internet and video and so on let us see a lot of it. The zone is flooded with information that is difficult to cope with.
Even some of the happiest countries in the world like the Nordic countries still have to deal with climate change and the threat of Russia attacking them.
While it's not a perfect solution, I recently have decreased political content that I read and watch. Since I'm not a politician or grassroots activist, spending so much time dwelling on politics without doing anything does nothing positive for my mental health. Call me selfish all you want, but that's the way it is.

If you think this is bad, try going back to the dark ages, or heck, even 1939 when Hitler attempted--and nearly did--take over the world and plunge it into eternal ruin. Compared to the past, we're living in utopian times, my friends. Don't let the internet and your own pathology get the best of you.
