Depend, a typical work week around 10-15 hours

If I have a week off, then probably 30-40 hours

More than I should but then my main hobby while at home, don't watch TV or read (comics are not what they used to be), so game.

Hmm, pie.

Over summer it has been averaging between 1-5 hours a week. A couple days a week 30 to 60 minutes. It's currently slowly increasing, the earlier it gets dark/cold, the more time for gaming for me. It's around 5 hours a week now, still not daily but more often an hour a night now.

I game a lot more in the winter months so should increase further. Yet the days of gaming all weekend and hours every night are long gone.

Really hard to say average as it depends so much on what I'm playing.
The maximum (with Pokemon or some strategy games) is almost to 50h/week, but that's rare.
Most typical would be couple hours a day, putting it to the 10-15h (that I picked).
Minimum would got to the 1-5h, but that's about as rare as the maximum.

Well I screwed up when answering the poll and answered 1-5 because I didn’t read the question and thought it was per day. So I guess my real answer would be 10-15 or 15-20.

It really depends on a few things: is there a new game that released that I’ve been hyped about. When Metroid Prime 4 comes out I will probably put 10 hours in per day, schedule permitting.

It also depends on how much real life chores/responsibilities I have to attend to at the moment. Lately there have been a lot of these so the gaming is certainly down to the one hour a day level.

I am currently going through a pretty blah feeling when it comes to gaming. None of my backlog looks very captivating and I don’t want to waste money buying another game that gets put into my backlog to try to “cure” the gaming boredom. I just bought Core Keeper for $12 and we’ll see how that goes. It’s a pretty small amount to pay to see if I’m bored with gaming in general or just of seeing the same backlog titles.

I will also say that I think just as sometimes your body makes you crave certain foods to heal sickness and nutrient deficiency, I think the mind knows that gaming can be an impediment to getting other things attended to in your life. I’ve been writing a lot more music these days and I think I need to lean that way more often as the Switch era/pandemic have certainly robbed me of a bit of music time.

If playing games on mobile counts, than around 3 hours each day. If not. maybe 4 hours a week usually in the same session.

I’d count mobile. I used to play those Sonic ports from Christen Whitehead, Tetris, MKTour, and Monument Valley all the time, and I’d count those as gaming time.

Around 20hrs, give or take.

I'm curious. I usually spend all day Saturday (first thing int he morning until late into night) playing my games, and no other time. For kids over 6, experts say no more than 60 minutes on school days and 2 hours on non-school  spacebar clicker  days. Kids under 6 should have a limit of less than one hour per day. Other good rules include gaming only after homework and chores are done and keeping some days of the week game-free The right amount of sports time varies based on age, physical development, and individual goals. Generally Parents and coaches/team officials are required to complete the Respect in Sport program. Certification in the Respect in Sport program is valid for

That's kind of a wild schedule. I'm the opposite these days, playing in small sessions on most evenings.

A few years back I used to play 30+ hours quite consistently. The most I've ever played is probably like 50+ when playing Persona games.
