I like that you took the time to put lots of screens for every game. And the list looks great, unfortunately, most of the still need a set release-date. But when a good deal of these are out and the reviews are in (assuming at least some lives up to hype), I could picture myself getting a ps3.
OMG, I said I would take a PS3 when 3 games are of interest to me, I got the money, I get my HDTV tomorrow if all goes as planned (and give my current 52" SDTV to my parents), but there, I can't see more than 2 things I want. Fortunately, I'll also buy the PS3 for the BluRay, as it seems to be a very good BluRay player, better than 2-3 times as expensive units, and I'll need that to at least use the HD part of my next TV, as we're starved for HD content in Europe. Shiro kishi monogatari is still interesting to me (Level 5 there), and I saw recently some footage of Heavenly Sword, so I think I'll like this one, which makes 2 games. What is frightening, is that no other games (or Home) showed here has any interest to me. And no, Folklore is not a RPG, as Zelda is not a RPG either. Actually, what won me most on PS3 is the region unlocked thing, they better not remove that. I'll know when these games are out anyway. And I have the Wii to wait. I won't even be able to play my old PS1 games, as most are japanese, and region locked. That's stupid really, they could have removed that, even for PS2 games. We still don't even have Rogue Squadron in Europe, what a shame! So I won't buy this console just for announced games, they have to actually come out in Europe to be any value to me. I hope for a Trusty Bell PS3 release too. As soon as Heavenly and Shiro Kishi are out (Heavenly out in Europe) and the price drop comes, I'm sure to buy the PS3. If Trusty Bell is announced too, then it's nirvana.

Because we haven't seen anything about the actual game so far, and the original didn't live up to the promises it made. It might be great, especially if the developers learned something from the first one, but right now there's no point in putting a game with no confirmed information on a list like this.
Has Sony even claimed it's coming out in 2007? I can't recall hearing anything about potential release dates.
damn with all these games and the multi games coming out... my pockets will be empty

HAHA.... no sorry my Lara Croft phase passed when I was in high school many years ago...
@BenKenobi
It's interesting that you mention that you like the more 'relative' style actually... I love my Japanese Anime and I love the over the top powers and magic and ki energy's etc etc, that's not to say a regular style like this is bad, but it just doesn't appeal to me. We all like different games, and its fair that a lot of people WILL like this game for sure.
Would I like this game if it had an over the top character with big shoulder pads and spikey anime hair? Probably not... it wouldn't suit the game at all, it's fine just the way it is - however this game doesn't appeal to me at all.
I like Half Life... is that generic? I don't think so.
I hated Doom 3 and Quake 4... were they too generic?
I didn't like Far Cry... excellent engine and gameplay but just got bored... why?
Who knows but its all different smokes for different blokes :)
Great list, definitely looking forward to this line-up. Hopefully my wallet can sustain the onslaught, =P. I did, however, find a few mistakes. The first, is that Ninja Gaiden Sigma displays in 1080p, not 720p. It also does 60fps and utilizes self-shadowing. Second, and I'm not 100% on this, is I thought Warhawk and SOCOM supported 32 players total, not 32 on 32. Anyways, great job. What would be even more impressive is if MGS4 made it out this year. That, however, is looking doubtful at best.

i went back and checked this and you're right about Socom and Warhawk they are 16 on 16, I must have remembered the number 32 and thought that was the number.
Ninja Gaiden maxes out at 720p and 1080i, no 1080p (I wish it did 1080p).

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!
